StagePoint Federal Credit Union hosted their annual backpack drive, collecting backpacks and school supplies from local businesses and community members. A total of 86 backpacks full of various supplies were donated to ACSD#1 students. Thank you to our generous community for helping support student learning!

With the start of a new school year quickly approaching, staff are hard at work preparing for students' arrival.
Laramie High School students who participated in the Into the Wild Cohort presented their work over the summer during an end of year showcase. This place-based educational class provides students the opportunities to get outside engaging in writing, art, leadership, and physical activities that aid them in gaining acute awareness of their communities, themselves, and nature.

Every summer, our transportation staff takes the time to further their education during an annual conference. At this conference our staff also competes in a “bus rodeo,” testing their knowledge and skill behind the wheel. One of our very own substitute drivers, Daniel Cranney, took second place in the transit category. Congrats team!
