Guidelines for High School Juniors for the Air Force Academy application process: Students will start filling out the Pre-Candidate Questionnaire, which becomes available online March 1 of every year. Between March 1 of the junior year and December 31 of their senior year, students must also request nominations from a designated nomination category. If a student is interested in seeing what life at the Academy is really like, they should consider applying to the Summer Seminar Program.

Upward Bound and Upward Bound Math Science – A college preparatory program for eligible Wyoming students and their families. For students in grades 9-11. Summer program also available to enrolled Upward Bound students which is a six-week residential program on the U.W. campus. Students may earn high school elective credit. Engineering /STEM Camps for High School Students -The Society of American Military Engineers, in collaboration with the Military Services, offers a series of engineering/STEM camps designed for high school students who excel in math, science and technology and are interested in pursuing engineering, architecture, or a related field in college. These one-week camps are for students across the country and around the world.
