The Albany County School Board met on Wednesday, September 9, 2026 and approved the following personnel recommendations, program actions, business items, and policy changes:
Personnel Recommendations: The School Board reviewed and approved the monthly personnel actions including resignations, retirements, extra duty assignments, additional duties, classified appointments, and certified appointments.

Donations:
The School Board accepted a $3,000 donation from the Ellbogen Foundation to Indian Paintbrush.
The School Board accepted a $2,558.13 from the Moose Lodge to the Backpack Program.
The School Board accepted a $1,000 donation from the Gittaway Ranch-Jim Mathis to the LHS FFA Chapter.
Central Kitchen MCER: The School Board approved MCER recommendation of 2931 Standards Place (Formerly 2931 Soldier Springs Road) as the new location for the Central Kitchen Storage Facility.
