The Albany County School Board met on Wednesday, May 13 2026, and approved the following personnel recommendations, program actions, business items, and policy changes:
Personnel Recommendations: The School Board reviewed and approved the monthly personnel actions including resignations, retirements, extra duty assignments, additional duties, classified appointments, and certified appointments.

Donations:
The School Board approved a $1,000 donation from McDonalds to Slade Elementary.
2026-2027 Preliminary Budget and Salary Schedules: The School Board approved the 2026-2027 preliminary budget and salary schedules.
Abre: The School Board did not approve a one year contract with Abre, a K-12 data solution software provider.
Purchase Offer for 1212 Baker St. (“Old Slade”): The School Board voted to accept the purchase offer from the City of Laramie.
Purchase Offer for Laramie Athletic Fields: The School Board voted to accept the purchase offer for the Laramie Athletic Field.
Consideration of Offer to Purchase Property: The School Board voted to authorize the submission of an offer to purchase property, subject to terms and conditions acceptable to the District.

Students from Laramie Middle School, Indian Paintbrush Elementary, Spring Creek Elementary, and Slade Elementary were recognized for their success in the Battle of the Books Competition.
