ACSD#! School Board Update

The Albany County School Board met on Wednesday, March 11, 2026 and approved the following personnel recommendations, program actions, business items, and policy changes:

  • Personnel Recommendations: The School Board reviewed and approved the monthly personnel actions including resignations, retirements, extra duty assignments, additional duties, classified appointments, and certified appointments.

  • School District Business Items and Bids:

    • Monthly Financial Reports.

    • Federal and State Grants Financial Report.

    • Bids:

      • The School Board approved a bid from Line Roofing in the amount of $535,550 for the Spring Creek Elementary Roof project.

      • The School Board approved a bid from All Pro Environmental Services LLC in the amount of $73,785 for Beitel abatement.

  • Contract With Abre: The School Board tabled the motion to approve a three-year contract with Abre, a K-12 data solution platform.

  • Policies Approved on First Reading:

  • Policies Approved on Second Reading:

  • Policies Adopted on Third Reading: No policies were adopted on third reading.

  • Policies Reviewed: No policies were reviewed.

In addition to the approval of programs, policies, and bids, the School Board heard the following presentations and recognitions:

  • Presentations:

    • The Jae Foundation presented the work they have done with all ACSD#1 schools to help raise awareness about suicide prevention.

  • Recognitions:

    • The LMS Math Counts Team placed second in the Southeast Chapter contest.

    • Thirteen LHS seniors received the UW Trustees Scholar Award, a prestigious full-ride scholarship to attend the University of Wyoming.

    • The LHS ProStart Team took home three State Championship titles during this year’s State contest.
