The ACSD#1 Operations department oversees the district’s buildings maintenance and transportation. The maintenance department maintains 15 buildings across the district and oversees all custodial duties, new school construction, 68 acres of landscaped property, and day-to-day building maintenance. The Transportation department maintains a fleet of 70 busses and 30 support vehicles. On average, 2,200 students, on 45 routes are safely bussed daily.
