Phase 2 of 2026-2027 preschool enrollment officially opens August 10th, 2026. This phase will serve as an open enrollment to fill remaining spots in each preschool classroom. Students must attend preschool at their neighborhood school and spots will be awarded on a first come first serve basis. Boundary exceptions will not be accepted for the preschool program unless an older sibling is currently in attendance at a school outside of your boundary. Students must meet all the requirements listed below before registering for preschool.

ACSD#1 Preschool Program Requirements:

  • Children must be 4 years old by August 1, 2025 (with the intent to enroll in kindergarten next year)

  • They must be fully potty-trained. Please note: This means they practice independence in the restroom and are able to zip/button and unzip/unbutton their clothing, clean themselves properly, and wash their hands.

  • Provide a Birth Certificate and Immunization Record

  • Children must be dropped off and picked up at the preschool classroom by their guardian or other designated family member within 15 minutes of start and end times. (Start: 8:00AM, End: 1:00PM)

  • Linford Elementary: 6

  • Slade Elementary: 9

  • Indian Paintbrush Elementary: 11

  • Spring Creek Elementary: 12

Enrollment Process:

  1. Use this link, to determine your neighborhood school

  2. Once you determine your neighborhood school please visit the school’s office during enrollment, beginning August 10th, Monday-Friday, 8AM-2PM.

    • Parents must visit schools in person to register for preschool starting Monday August 10th.

    • Students cannot be registered before this date and time, please do not arrive at the schools early with the expectation of registering your student.

  3. As a reminder, enrollment is first come first serve, once classroom spots are no longer available you may select to be added to a wait list.

  4. Phase 2 enrollment ends once all classrooms are filled, if spots remain open, students may join the program anytime throughout the course of the school year.

Please note if you completed an application during phase 1 enrollment and were not given priority seating, you will need to complete the phase 2 enrollment process outlined above including visiting the school to register your student. Denied applications are not automatically enrolled during the open enrollment process.
