Our seniors took part in the Jae Foundation High School Senior Boot Program today! Each senior received a pair of Jae Boots and heard a powerful message about mental health, resilience, and connection. They listened, were deeply moved, and committed to carrying the message forward. Teton Science Camp! Place-based learning for the Longhorns!
Mrs. Aimee’s 6th grade class received eight sewing machines (either lent or donated) to use to make costumes for the upcoming fall dinner theater focusing on Native American heritage. This will be one of their place based education projects this year. The class also received many sewing supplies and notions donated by Mrs. Aimee’s friends and family via her Amazon wish list. The students are very excited to have this opportunity! Thank you Longhorn Nation!
