On this Memorial Day, we remember and honor those who gave the last full measure of devotion in the service of our country.  Our freedom can come at a cost, and we are thankful for those who have served our country.  Since there is no school today and we have an assembly on Friday, our schedule this week is No School, Odd, Even, All, Assembly. 

On Thursday students will begin checking in their Chromebooks.  All Chromebooks and chargers will be checked in by the end of the week.  Please look over your student’s device with them before Thursday.  Look for visible damage and missing keys.  Have your student turn their device on and make sure their track pad works.  You can also check their USB port to make sure it’s functional.  S4S teachers will perform a preliminary inspection of student devices on Wednesday.  You will be notified if there is any noticeable damage to your student’s device.  Our technology department will assess devices over the summer and issue any fines if necessary. If your student has put any stickers on their device, please have them remove them prior to check in to speed up the process. 

The last dance is Wednesday from 3:05-5:00 in the LMS gym.  Admission is $5.00 and concessions will be available.  All LMS students not serving ISS or OSS on Wednesday are encouraged to attend.  Let’s dance into summer break and end the year with a bit of fun. 

The Ice Bucket Challenge sponsored by our Hope Squad continues.  Mr. Krysl and Mr. O’Dea got the full treatment last Friday.  English, Math, and the Student Leadership Team are up this week.  Enjoy this video of the latest participants. 

We are transitioning from Remind to ParentSquare starting in the 2026-2027 school year.  ParentSquare purchased Remind so we will not be able to use it after this summer.  For the remainder of this school year, we will send out the community communication through both Remind and ParentSquare. The last two weeks of this school season are upon us.  We have a lot of important things to finish up.  Please support your student by having them in school every day, on time, ready to learn.  Let’s make the end of this year a great one.
