Dear Parents/Guardians,

Under the federal Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA), school districts that receive federal funding are required to provide military recruiters, upon request, with the names, addresses, and telephone numbers of secondary students unless a parent/guardian or eligible student requests that this information not be released.

This requirement applies to junior and senior students enrolled at Laramie High School.

Unless this form is completed and returned, your student’s information may be shared with military recruiters upon request.

Students who are 18 years of age or older may complete this form on their own behalf.

Families may complete the opt-out process in one of the following ways:
