ACSD 1 COVID Decision Guide March 2021

Notable changes are:

  1. Children and staff who have symptoms consistent with COVID-19 should be sent home or not allowed to enter. If the child or staff has NOT had a COVID exposure they may return 24 hours after COVID-19 symptoms have subsided - without the use of fever reducing medication.
  2. Children and staff who have symptoms consistent with COVID-19 should be sent home or not allowed to enter. If the child or staff has had a COVID exposure they will need to quarantine for 14 days.

Please refer to the guide for more detailed information

Update:

The state will be dropping the state-wide mask mandate while we are over break. In the governor’s release, it states that “the face covering protocol will remain in place in K-12 schools as a safety measure to ensure that classroom learning, and all student activities can continue to occur safely”. Please remind students as they are set to come back that they will have to continue to wear face coverings in school. We will continue to update any new procedures as they happen.
