I graduated from the University of Wyoming in the Spring of 2015 with a double major in Kinesiology and Physical Education. I love to rock climb and spend time with my friends 13939505_10153958124323717_8037389162425702875_nand my puppy at the rock wall. When I’m not in the mountains I love to pursue fitness because being fit allows me to experience everything the outdoors has to offer – to climb, hike, paddle board, snowboard, cross-country ski, snowshoe and a plethora of other outdoor and social activities.

One of my goals as a physical education teacher is to lead my students in an active and healthy lifestyle. As they become confident and competent movers from the skills they learn in physical education, they choose to participate in life-enhancing physical activities outside of my classroom that lead them to healthier and higher quality lives. I believe that physical education is not only helpful in living a physically healthy lifestyle, but also helps children become socially, emotionally, and mentally healthy.
