Our school district encompasses 4200 square miles and has 3500 students.  ACSD#1 has 15 schools ranging in size from two students to 740 students.  Our students are among the highest academically performing in the State of Wyoming, and we have excellent teachers, staff, and administrators who ensure that students achieve success.  Our community has a strong focus on education, with the University of Wyoming, Laramie County Community College (Albany Campus), and Wyoming Technical Institute being located in Laramie.

Our diverse community offers a friendly, small town atmosphere.  The University of Wyoming provides wonderful opportunities for further education, fine arts opportunities, access to major college sports, and other wonderful opportunities.  We are located in the heart of country favored by the outdoor enthusiast, and we are only two hours north of Denver for those who wish access to a large city.
